“The 2008 Shipbuilding Steel Colloquia” was
solemnly held in Shanghai on Apr.20, 2008.
More than 100 delegates from government organizations, industry
associations, steel enterprises (including, Ansteel, Baosteel, Jinan
Steel, WISCO, Handan Steel, Shougang, Wugang, Sanming Steel, Xiangtan
Steel, Anyang Steel, Tianjin Steel, Xinyu Steel, Baotou Steel, Magang,
Shaoguan Steel, Tangshan Steel, Shagang, Nanjing Steel, Liuzhou Steel,
etc.) and shipbuilding enterprises (Including, China Shipbuilding
Industry Corporation, China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Jiangnan
Shipyard Co., Ltd, China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd, Hudong-Zhonghua
Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, etc.) were invited to the conference.
Delegates from shipbuilders introduced their
shipbuilding and steel consumption situation, while steel mills
representatives briefed on their production, sales and preorder status
of their ship plate, all the guests compared notes during the conference
on the problems that they came across throughout enterprises’ running
for further development, and also made
feasibility discussion upon deepened cooperation between shipbuilders
and steelmakers.
