With 6-month effort, second ironmaking plant of Maanshan Steel finished the intelligent upgrading in No.2 blast furnace's hot stove control system. The obvious improvement in stove temperature and fueling status could save 3+ percent of BF coal gas consumption per year, which increases 3 million RMB of economic benefit.
The original hot stove control system of No.2 BF is semi-automatic mode, which was born to be deficient, with unstable coal gas pipe net pressure and not ideal stove temperature.
The plant set up technical working group in August 2018, and officially commenced the upgrading after deep investigation and verification.
The upgraded system is intelligently meeting the requirement and standard of the designed target. Air and coal gas reach the best blending fueling status. The temperature of hot stove is raised by 10 degrees. Coal gas consumption is reduced by 43 million cubic meters on yearly basis.
