Huaigang Special Steel in Jiangsu province plans to stop the production of its No.5 blast furnace for maintenance, which will begin at the end of August and last for 3 months. This is expected to make a dent of 20,000 tons or so in the production of hot metal in August, and 60,000 tons in September and October.
