According to SteelHome survey, the section steel products in Tangshan city on Tuesday morning decline by 20-30 yuan per ton, while strip rises by 20 yuan per ton. However, finished steel products see weak trading volume.
Billet is quoted at 3430 yuan per ton, a drop of 20 yuan, with weak transactions reported.
We expect the billet price may stabilize or further decrease by another 10 yuan per ton.
