In 2019, Hebei province intends to reduce 14 million tons of steel capacity, 9 million tons of coal capacity and 3 million tons of coke capacity. The focus will be laid on steel, cement, coking and chemical industries. A total of 7 industrial enterprises which cause heavy pollution will be transformed.
It is necessary to win the campaign of controlling scattered coal. Hebei province is required to comprehensively inspect coal-fired boilers and implement off-peak production.
