The vessel named Zheng Ming berthed ore dock of Zhoushan port, Ningbo city, and then the vessel headed for Japan with 70,000+ tons of Vale's BRBF. The move hint that Zhoushan port officially initiated the iron ore distribution business, making it the first time among southern ports of China.
Vale, the largest iron ore miner in the world, builds ore blending bases in China and Malaysia, in order to enhance the ore competitiveness and to satisfy the clients in China mainland, Japan, South Korea etc.
