According to the document released by Jiangsu industry and information office on May 20, Zhongxin Steel Group will build two new 2050m3 blast furnaces and two new 120t basic oxygen furnaces by replacing 4.3575 million tons of ironmaking capacity and 3.4 million tons of steelmaking capacity that were eliminated from Chenggang Group, Penggang Group, Taifa Steel and Rongyang Steel. Meanwhile, Xuzhou Steel will build a new 2120m3 blast furnace by replacing 2.2625 million tons of ironmaking capacity that were eliminated from Rongyang Steel, Longyuan Steel and Xuzhou Steel.
