According to SteelHome survey, construction steel price increased by 10
yuan/t in Nanjing market on January 7.
HPB300 Φ8-10mm high speed wire rod from Shagang was 3940 yuan/t. HRB400
Φ10mm coiled rebar from Shagang was 3990 yuan/t.
Steel mills lifted their factory price by 20-30 yuan/t after the market
opened. Traders then followed and raised their offers by 10-20 yuan/t.
It was learned that trading activity remained moderate in the market.
