It is reported on 28 May 2019 that the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee, Secretary Wang Dongfeng introduces Hebei Province’s endeavor in the new era on Press Conference.
He also expresses that Hebei Province is giant province in China steel industry and even in global steel industry. It is needed to be highlighted that there is steel overcapacity rather than backward capacity in Hebei Province.
At present, steel output is still in large volume. Hebei Province expects to respectively cut another 14 million tons steel overcapacity in 2019 and 2020. As of 2020, steel capacity will be controlled at within 200 million tons.
