CISA Members
During January 1-10, 2019, CISA member steel manufacturers produced
18.4439 million tons of crude steel, 16.7778 million tons of pig iron,
16.6715 million tons of steel products and 3.3316 million tons of coke.
Daily output of crude steel at CISA member steel manufacturers was
1.8444 million tons, up 62,900 tons or 3.53% from the daily output
during December 21-31, 2018; daily output of pig iron was 1.6778 million
tons, up 91,800 tons or 5.79% from the daily output during December
21-31, 2018; daily output of steel products was 1.6672 million tons,
down 101,200 tons or 5.72% from the daily output during December 21-31,
2018; daily output of coke was 333,200 tons, down 3,000 tons or 0.88%
from the daily output during December 21-31, 2018.
National Output
It’s estimated that during January 1-10, 2019, China produced 23.7981
million tons of crude steel, 19.688 million tons of pig iron, 28.9057
million tons of steel products and 12.0644 million tons of coke.
On daily basis, China produced 2.3798 million tons of crude steel,
1.9688 million tons of pig iron, 2.8906 million tons of steel and 1.2064
million tons of coke.
Inventory
The inventory of CISA members during January 1-10, 2019 was 11.2679
million tons, down 120,100 tons or 1.05% from December 21-31, 2018.
