China Baowu Group ranked 149th on the fortune global 500 list released by fortune Chinese yesterday, with revenue of 66.31 billion USD, jumping 13 places from the previous year and ranking the second among global steel enterprises.
In 2018, China Baowu fully seized the opportunity of improving market environment, stepped up reform, further deepened integration and achieved high-quality development. The group achieved profit of 33.8 billion yuan in 2018, an increase of 19.6 billion yuan on a yearly basis. The annual steel output reached 67.25 million tons, ranking first in China and second in the world.
