According to Customs of China, iron ore imports in the first month of 2019 were 91.264 million tons, a decrement of 9.181 million tons or down 9.1 percent on year. The inbound shipments added 4.616 million tons over December’s imports, up 5.3 percent on month. The January average import price was 74.2 dollars per ton, down 1.6 dollars.
