According to Bureau of statistics, in 2018, raw coal output totaled 60.061 million tons in industrial enterprises above designated size in Linfen, dropping slightly by 1.6% from the previous year. The production of raw coal was conducted smoothly.
In terms of specific types of coal, Linfen produced 49.657 million tons of bituminous coal for coking in 2018, falling 2.0% on year. Anthracite output was 3.771 million tons, increasing 7.3% on year. The output of ordinary bituminous coal was 6.633 million tons, dropping 2.7% on year.
