Findings:
1. The BF operating rate at 179 Chinese steel mills that represents
748.40 million tons of crude steel capacity was 87.2% in week ending
March 7, 2019, down 0.67% from last survey.
2. In terms of BF capacity, running capacity was 652.63 million tons out
of 748.40 million tons, making operating rate 87.2%, down 0.67% from
last period.
3. In terms of BF volume, running BF volume was 710,515 cubic meters out
of total 803,986 cubic meters, meaning operating rate was 88.37%, down
0.5% from last period.
