Recently, relevant environmental authorities have taken measures to control pollution in Tangshan city and its surrounding areas.
It was understood that eleven steel mills in the city have scheduled maintenance for their blast furnaces, with an additional maintenance volume of about 9,640m3, affecting daily production of about 26,900 tons of molten iron.
At present, the capacity utilization of blast furnace in Tangshan is 62.23%, dropping by 5.83% from last survey. In the short term, the capacity utilization will be still declining.
