In February 2019, China imported 1.3625 million tons of coal from two coal terminals operated by Port Waratah Coal Services, increasing 15.16% on year and surging 94.48% on month.
In February, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Newcastle port totally exported 8.8704 million tons of coal, dropping 0.28% on year and down 4.15% on month. Of this, thermal coal exports reached 8.0721 million tons, rising 6.76% on year and up 0.25% on month. Coking coal exports stood at 798,300 tons, dropping 40.17% on year and down 33.65% on month.
