1. The hot-rolled strip capacity utilization at 45 Chinese steel mills
that represents 67 production lines was 67.16% in week ending March 14,
2019, flat from last survey.
2. In terms of production lines, running production lines was 45 out of
total 67, meaning operating rate was 67.16%, flat from last survey.
3. In terms of hot-rolled strip capacity, running capacity was 48.005
million tons out of 68.805 million tons, making capacity utilization of
69.77%, flat from last period.
4. Hot-rolled strip daily production for this week was 96,700 tons, up
500 tons from last survey.
