In the last few months of 2018, many construction companies continuously filed a bankruptcy application and declared bankruptcy so it caused the crisis of Turkey’s construction industrial to become more seriously and set up a limitation for the demands of Turkey’s rebar.
According to the report, the recession of the construction steel demands kept knocking down the sales and production targets of Turkey’s steel factories. Therefore, some of the long product manufacturers reduced 40-50% of the production volume and some of them chose to stop producing till the end of March.
After the congress elections in the end of this month, Turkey’s uncertainly economics made the situation became nervous in the steel market; however, in April, the price will be considered with the factors of economic situation, export market, demand, price of materials, and so on.
