On March 20, China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd. issued a report of its February performance. According to the report, Shenhua Group produced 25.70 million tons of commercial coal in February, rising 14.7% year on year and up 21.8% month on month. In February, the company sold 38.90 million tons of coal, rising 16.1% year on year and up 49.62% month on month.
In February, coal transport by water at ports owned by Shenhua Group was 23.60 million tons, rising 35.6% from the previous year and up 53.25% month on month. Of this, coal transport by water at Huanghua port was 16.60 million tons, rising 28.7% year on year and up 49.55% month on month. Meanwhile, coal transport by water at Shenhua Tianjin coal terminal was 3.80 million tons, rising 40.7% year on year and up 58.33% on month.
