On 20 March 2019 that Huoqiu County, Lu’an Province published 2019 Work Report of Huoqiu Economic Park.
The Report points out that Huoqiu 3 million tons capacity project unitized to be Lu’an Steel Holding Group by inner shares reorganization. With 12.2 billion yuan investment, the project has signed contract with 7.3 billion yuan and totally paid 4.26 billion yuan.
According to the Report, coking, sintering, rolling, iron making and steelmaking processes could be put into production in the first half of 2019.
The project totally has three phases with capacity 3 million for Phase I, 3.5 million for Phase II and 3.3 million for Phase III. Main construction includes mining, sintering, pellet, coking, iron making, steelmaking and rolling processes and their united set equipments.
