According to the latest data released by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in January-February 2019, the prime operating revenue of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 14,800 billion yuan, increasing 3.3% year on year. The prime operating revenue of mining industry was 630.84 billion yuan, increasing 3.8% on year.
In January-February, gross profit of above-sized industrial enterprises reached 708.01 billion yuan, with a drop of 14.0% on year. Gross profit of mining industry was 70.15 billion yuan, dropping 12.6% on year. Of this, gross profit of coal mining and washing industry was 33.62 billion yuan, dropping 23.2% on year.
