Recently, Zhejiang province of China released an exposure draft which aimed to relocate and transform or close the heavily polluted enterprises in the urban areas so that the environmental air quality will be improved.

Object: Heavily polluted enterprises in urban areas of the whole province, including cement, flat glass, chemical industry, coking, iron and steel industries, which actually built or being built within the municipal and county administrative regions.

Implementation period: 2018-2020

Main Objectives: From 2018 to 2020, the province plans to complete 73 enterprises relocation, transformation or closure, of which 30 are completed by the end of 2018, 17 by the end of 2019 and 26 by the end of 2020. By 2020, the number of heavily polluted enterprises in urban areas of the province will be reduced effectively, the ecological environment will be improved significantly, and the industrial concentration will be increased significantly.
