CISA Members
During March 11-20, 2019, CISA member steel manufacturers produced
19.023 million tons of crude steel, 16.9203 million tons of pig iron,
17.6852 million tons of steel products and 3.403 million tons of coke.
Daily output of crude steel at CISA member steel manufacturers was
1.9023 million tons, up 18,000 tons or 0.95% from the daily output
during March 1-10, 2019; daily output of pig iron was 1.692 million
tons, down 11,400 tons or 0.67% from the daily output during March 1-10,
2019; daily output of steel products was 1.7685 million tons, up 110,300
tons or 6.65% from the daily output during March 1-10, 2019; daily
output of coke was 340,300 tons, up 2,900 tons or 0.85% from the daily
output during March 1-10, 2019.
National Output
It’s estimated that during March 11-20, 2019, China produced 24.3435
million tons of crude steel, 19.7915 million tons of pig iron, 30.0869
million tons of steel products and 12.0251 million tons of coke.
On daily basis, China produced 2.4343 million tons of crude steel,
1.9792 million tons of pig iron, 3.0087 million tons of steel and 1.2025
million tons of coke.
Inventory
The inventory of CISA members during March 11-20, 2019 was 13.8525
million tons, down 686,200 tons or 4.72% from March 1-10, 2019.
