Findings:
1. The HRC capacity utilization at 38 Chinese steel mills that
represents 69 production lines was 97.1% in week ending April 11, 2019,
flat from last survey.
2. In terms of production lines, running production lines was 67 out of
total 69, meaning operating rate was 97.1%, flat from last survey.
3. In terms of HRC capacity, running capacity was 234.57 million tons
out of 238.57 million tons, making capacity utilization of 98.32%, flat
from last period.
4. HRC daily production for this week was 488,000 tons, down 1,200 tons
or 0.25% from last survey.
