India Government initiated investigations on alleged dumping practices involved in the aluminum flat products imports from Korea, China and Vietnam. India Commerce Department DGTR began anti-dumping investigations on aluminum flat products imports in response to the petitions filed by JSW Steel, Reuters delivered.
The applied tariffs on aluminum flat products imposed by India Government are 16.5 percent ad valorem. The period of investigations covers for the entries reported between 2015 and 2018. India Government is also known to institute antidumping probes on solar panel imports from the same countries as petitioned on the aluminum flat products.
