Shanxi Coking Group on April 16 publicized the 2018 yearly report in which the company realized 7.23 billion yuan of revenue in 2018, up 20.6 percent on year; net profit belonging to parent company was 1.53 billion yuan, soaring by 1567.4 percent on year, a record high in recent three years; every share earned 1.21 yuan per ton.
In 2018, the company produced 3.0066 million tons of coke (wet basis), 0.1903 million tons of methanol, 55,700 tons of carbon black. It processed 0.2583 million tons of coal tar (water-free), 0.1034 million tons of crude benzol.
The sales of coke in 2018 were 2.9968 million tons; sales of methanol were 0.1928 million tons; sales of carbon black were 56,800 tons; sales of bitumen were 77,200 tons; and that of coking benzol were 72,900 tons.
The production plan in 2019: coke, 2.85 million tons (dry basis), 0.31 million tons of processed coal tar, 0.11 million tons of processed crude benzol, 0.2 million tons of methanol and 72,000 tons of carbon black.
