China Shenhua on April 13 released that its March commercial coal production was 24.7 million tons, down 1.6 percent on year or down 3.89 percent on month; coal sales were 40.2 million tons, up 1 percent on year or up 3.34 percent on month.
In the first three months, commercial coal production totaled 71.5 million tons, down 0.8 percent on year; cumulative coal sales were 105.1 million tons, down 3 percent on year.
In March, coal delivery at ports was 23.1 million tons, up 10.5 percent on year or down 2.12 percent on month. By port, the delivery at Huanghua port was 16.8 million tons, up 16.7 percent on year or up 1.2 percent on month; that at Tianjin port was 3.2 million tons, down 13.4 percent or up 15.79 percent on month.
In March, China Shenhua generated 10.95 billion KWH, down 51.9 percent on year. The combined power generation in three months was 46.4 billion KWH, down 30.2 percent on year. The sales of electricity in March was 10.25 billion KWH, down 52.1 percent. The combined electricity sales in the first quarter were 43.61 billion KWH, down 30.2 percent on year.
