SteelHome, was successfully held in International Convention Center

At the 7th China Commodities E-Commerce Summit held on the afternoon of
April 13, Cai Jin, Vice President of China Logistics and Purchasing
Federation, reported on New Trends in the Development of Iron and
Steel E-Commerce and Intelligent Logistics.

By analyzing the current macro situation, it is pointed out that the
national economy will undergo a series of positive changes in a stable
and moderate economic period. And by analyzing supply-side reform, it is
pointed out that exports slowed down after 2012, and it is difficult to
achieve economic growth by export. Meanwhile, investment slows down
gradually after 2017, weakening its positive effect on economy. Although
consumption has great potential to pull economic growth in the future,
the mode of pulling economic growth by expanding scale has reached its
extreme, so it must be transformed and upgraded.
For iron and steel industry, supply-side structural reform has brought
dividends to iron and steel enterprises, the first round of which is to
cut overcapacity and reduce excess
inventory by government. However, in order to achieve more
healthy development of the industry, it is necessary to change the mode
of production organization and reduce production costs. President Cai
believes that there is still much room for reducing the logistics cost
of steel industry, which currently accounts for 10%.
In terms of the development of iron and steel e-commerce, President Cai
pointed out that data integration of the whole industry chain is the
foundation, integration of modern technology room is the key, and
providing the solution of the whole process is the goal. |
