I Market Operation and Characteristics in 2018

1.  Review of 2018

Production: the total output of household electrical appliances exceeded 3.8 billion units; the total output of household appliances and kitchen appliances was over 500 million units, and the output of small household appliances was 3.3 billion units. In February 2019, the output of major products increased overall over the same period last year.

Domestic sales: affected by the residential market in 2018, sales of refrigerator, washing machine and kitchen appliances declined.

Exports: Exports were 68.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 9.94%, and the impact of trade wars has not yet appeared.

2. Outlook for 2019

Domestic market: Optimize the business environment, reduce the burden on enterprises, stimulate economic vitality; disposable income growth of residents; consumption upgrade, new opportunities, consumer confidence index reached a new high in a decade.

Overseas market: the escalation of global trade disputes; Sino-US trade negotiations are progressing smoothly and it is expected to reach an agreement.
