It was understood from a senior official of Indian government that the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) of India ruled that it was no longer required to continue the anti-dumping duty on imported ductile iron pipes from China.
The report from the DGTR pointed out that the imports of ductile iron pipe from China were very little during the period of review, so it was hard to determine the anti-dumping issue from the extreme small amount of imports.
Therefore, after the official notice was issued based on the review report from the DGTR, the current anti-dumping duty will be lifted.
