On the evening of April 24, Baosteel disclosed a quarterly report that the company's operating income in the first quarter was 65.378 billion yuan, down 3.1% from the same period of previous year; the net profit attributable to listed shareholders was 2.726 billion yuan, down 45.7% year on year; the basic earnings per share was 0.12 yuan, down 47.8% year on year.
The total revenue of Baosteel increased by 5.4% to 304.779 billion yuan in 2018, and the net profit attributable to listed shareholders increased by 12.5% to 21.565 billion yuan. The basic earnings per share increased by 12.8% to 0.97 yuan, with total assets of 335.141 billion yuan.
