CISA Members
During April 11-20, 2019, CISA member steel manufacturers produced
20.0570 million tons of crude steel, 17.8450 million tons of pig iron,
18.8515 million tons of steel products and 3.4211 million tons of coke.
Daily output of crude steel at CISA member steel manufacturers was
2.0057 million tons, up 50,700 tons or 2.59% from the daily output
during April 1-10, 2019; daily output of pig iron was 1.7845 million
tons, up 34,700 tons or 1.98% from the daily output during April 1-10,
2019; daily output of steel products was 1.8852 million tons, up 96,100
tons or 5.37% from the daily output during April 1-10, 2019; daily
output of coke was 342,100 tons, up 1,200 tons or 0.35% from the daily
output during April 1-10, 2019.
National Output
It’s estimated that during April 11-20, 2019, China produced 26.1060
million tons of crude steel, 20.7915 million tons of pig iron, 31.2619
million tons of steel products and 11.9899 million tons of coke.
On daily basis, China produced 2.6106 million tons of crude steel,
2.0791 million tons of pig iron, 3.1262 million tons of steel and 1.1990
million tons of coke.
Inventory
The inventory of CISA members during April 11-20, 2019 was 12.8252
million tons, up 479,000 tons or 3.88% from April 1-10, 2019.
