It was reported that Turkey might lower the tariffs on the imports from the US which has been doubled by Turkey in response to the US' twofold tariffs on Turkish steel and aluminum in August last year since the US has reduced the tariffs to 25% from the previous 50% last week.
These US’ products impacted by Turkish retaliatory measures included coal, alcoholic drinks, tobacco, rice, cars and cosmetics.
The new decision from Turkish government’s tariffs on US imports was expected to be announced in the next few days.
