Plate prices maintained flat on the Korean distribution market as in the previous week, but dumped sales in part caused disorder. According to Korean plate distributors, the prices recorded 700,000 won a ton for anti-import grade during the second week of June.
There was neither hikes nor slippage on the recently traded levels, except for some deals sold at lower prices than the fair prices. It seems to reflect a sort of destocking, the industry people delivered.
In addition, Korean plate mills are mulling over price hikes by reason of the rising import prices of steelmaking raw materials.
