Scrap price in Liaoning province is stable with slight increases on Thursday.
Then 6-10mm HMS2 in Chaoyang district is 2750 yuan/t, up 30 yuan/t from the previous trading day. In Benxi, 6-10mm HMS2 is stable at 2680 yuan/t. In Fushun, 6-10mm HMS2 is stable at 2710 yuan/t.
Meanwhile, with the tight supply of scrap, some steelmakers have raised the scrap price with the strong will on price upturns in the near term. The finished product market, however, fluctuates at a low level, which may cause insufficient motivations of further price rising.
