In June 2019, the coke ratio of the No. 1 blast furnace in Bengang Steel Plates Company fell below the standard of 313 kg/t, reaching the leading level of the same type of blast furnace in China.
At the same time, the blast furnace's coke ratio decreasing of the plant achieved a comprehensive breakthrough, and the average coke ratio was 333 kg/t. This not only represents the continuous improvement of the production performance indicators including the coke ratio, but also effectively reduces the production cost. More importantly, it marks the substantial improvement of the comprehensive management level of the process before iron making in Bengang Group.
At present, the plant is grasping the favorable timing of stable operation of the blast furnace, and strives to further optimize all production data including the coke ratio, laying a solid foundation for the completion of the annual cost target of the process before iron making.
