On 26 July, 2019,Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel
Enterprises Association (CSSC) released statistical data of stainless
steel crude steel for first half of 2019. Details are below:
Crude Production:
In the first half of 2019, domestic stainless steel crude steel
production was 14.354 million tons, up 1.126 million tons and 8.51% from
the same period of 2018.

Import/Export:
In the first half of 2019, imported stainless steel was 0.68 million
tons, down 0.475 million tons and 69.81% from the same period of last
year.
In the first half of 2019, exported stainless steel was 1.698 million
tons, down 0.743 million tons and 43.75% from the same period of last
year.
Apparent Consumption:
In the first half of 2019, apparent consumption of stainless steel was
11.929 million tons, up 1.575 million tons and 15.21% from the same
period of last year. |
