Scrap price in Hebei province rises slightly on Thursday. Then 6-10mm HMS2 in Tangshan rises by 30 yuan/t to 2700 yuan/t.
Meanwhile, with the tight supply in scarp recently, many steel makers in China have raised the scrap purchase price in order to increase the volume of scrap arrived to plants. The rise, however, has been limited because of the increasing cost pressures in steel making for steel mills.
