Allegiance Coal Limited, a coal exploration company, intended to actively develop metallurgical coal mines in Canada and the US. The company was currently embarking on a metallurgical mining project in British Columbia, Canada, and would obtain the mining license for undeveloped areas in 2020.
Its coal production would be started in the last quarter in 2021. Allegiance mentioned it will update its annual capacity estimates for the new development projects.
Based on the latest data, there were about 750,000 tons of capacity per year and could last for 22 years. In addition, by the fifth and sixth years, the estimated output could be increased to 1.05 million tons and would be able to achieve 1.35 million tons after the seventh year.
