Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission released the supply and demand situation of Shanghai energy in July 2019. In July 2019, the total electricity consumption in Shanghai was 15.48 billion kWh, down 5.2% on year and up 26.7% on month.
Among them, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 54 million kWh, up 1.7% on year; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 7.52 billion kWh, down 13.9% on year; and the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 6.45 billion kWh, up 9.3% on year.
The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents in Shanghai was 1.45 billion kWh, down 11.4% over the same period last year.
From January to July, the electricity consumption in Shanghai totaled 89.18 billion kWh, a decrease of 1.0% on year.
In July, the highest power load of Shanghai Power Grid was 31.319 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. From January to July, the highest power load in Shanghai was 31.319 million kilowatts.
