Recently, a significant breakthrough has been made in the deep prospecting of high-grade iron ore in Shandong, China. The results of the iron ore surveyed by Bureau of Coalfield Geology of Shandong Province show that the Fe content of iron ore in the Litun mine of the Qihe-Yucheng area reaches 55.97%; the highest Fe content: 66.46%; magnet grade: 49.32%.
It is reported that the high-grade iron ore is a strategic mineral resource for China, which is scarce in this country obviously.
