According to data released by the Henan Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, from January to July 2019, coal mines in Henan province produced a total of 61.256 million tons of raw coal, a decrease of 1.958 million tons, down 3.1% on year.
Of this, raw coal output from key mines (owned by the provincial government or branches of central government-owned companies) stood at 57.3662 million tons during the period, dropping by 2.3177 million tons and down 3.9% year on year.
The output from local mines (owned by governments at the prefecture and lower levels and private operators) rose 10.2% on year to 3.8864 million tons.
In the first seven months of 2019, Henan Energy and Chemical Industry Group, the province's largest producer, produced 27.048 million tons of raw coal, falling off by 2.6% on year, followed by China Pingmei Shenma Group, whose raw coal output stood at 19.1968 million tons, down 5.9% from the year prior.
Zhengzhou Coal Group produced 6.837 million tons of raw coal, dropping 8.5% on a yearly basis.
The output of Shenhuo Group totaled 2.7472 million tons, up 3.8% year on year.
SDIC Henan Branch produced 1.4605 million tons of raw coal, up 251,400 tons or 20.8% on a yearly basis.
The output of Coal-bed Methane Company in Henan Province reached 22,100 tons, down 82.3% year on year.
Henan Provincial Coal Group produced 54,600 tons of raw coal, decreasing 1.2% on year.
According to jurisdictions, from January to July, Zhengzhou Branch produced 11.3276 million tons of raw coal. Western Hebei Branch produced 11.0346 million tons of raw coal and Northern Hebei Bureau produced 9.086 million tons of raw coal. The production of raw coal in Southern Hebei Bureau was 21.4435 million tons. Eastern Hebei Bureau produced 8.361 million tons of raw coal.
