According to the news, the British prime minister, Boris Johnson, had attempted to renegotiate with the EU about Brexit, but it was rejected by the EU.
No matter the deal had been reached at the end or not, the Brexit date, October 31st, would not change, which only got two months left from now.
Although the EU rejected the negotiation demand from the UK, the door for the agreement was still opened. It still had some space to negotiate once Boris Johnson proposed more details of the deal.
