According to the 2019 semi-annual report released by Inner Mongolia Huadian Group, in the first half of 2019, the company achieved operating income of 6.756 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.49%; net profit of 740 million yuan, an increase of 152.72% on year. The net profit after extraordinary gains and losses was 735 million yuan, up 156.67% on year.
Inner Mongolia Huadian said that the increase in operating income was mainly due to factors such as the rapid increase in overall load in Western Inner Mongolia. The power generation of the power generation enterprises in Western Inner Mongolia, which was owned by the company, increased by 20.61% in the first half of the year.
In the first half of 2019, the company completed a total of 25.687 billion kWh of power generation, an increase of 669 million kWh year-on-year, up 2.67% on year.
In addition, in the first half of 2019, the company's coal output was 3.095 million tons, an increase of 31.74% on year. Coal sales revenue reached 548 million yuan, an increase of 273 million yuan, up 99.02% on year.
