According to the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics, in July 2019, raw coal output of enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province was 84.202 million tons, an increase of 11% on year and down 4.12% on month.
From January to July 2019, the cumulative raw coal output of enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province was 555.498 million tons, an increase of 9.2% on year.
In July, the added value of the coal industry increased by 5.8% on year, and the value added in January to July increased by 6.0% on year.
In addition, in July 2019, coke output of enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province was 8.331 million tons, up 0.1% on year and down 5.15% on month. From January to July 2019, the cumulative coke output of enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province was 56.864 million tons, up 6.2% on year.
In July 2019, coalbed methane output of enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province was 500 million cubic meters, up 20.9% on year; the cumulative coalbed methane output of enterprises above designated size from January to July was 3.48 billion cubic meters, up 16.5% on year.
