According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services of Brazil, Brazil exported around 28.3 million tons of iron ore in August, which was down by 20.54% from the same month a year ago. In the same period, the total sales value was about US$2.45 billion, up by 49.11% year-on-year. The average price of iron ore came to US$86.55 per ton, up 87.65% from the same month a year ago.
