Luo Huining, secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial People's Congress, pointed out that in the first half of 2019, new energy installed capacity of Shanxi accounted for more than 30%, and the entire energy production and consumption structure is changing.
In the past two years, coal industry in Shanxi Province has grown at an average annual rate of 1.9%, far below the national growth level. In 2018, the proportion of coal industry fell by 2.5% on year. It is expected that by 2022, a historical reversal of the proportion of manufacturing and coal industry will be realized.
