According to the data from the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru (MINEM), Peru produced a total of around 840,500 tons of iron ore in July this year, growing by 22.2% compared to 688,000 tons in the same month a year ago.
Among them, Shougang Hierro Perú, the largest domestic iron ore producer, accounted for the largest proportion of the total output.
In the first 7 months of this year, the production of iron ore amounted to approximately 5.3 million tons, a year-on-year reduction of 7.2%.
