Scrap price in Liaoning province softens on Friday.
Then 6-10mm HMS2 in Chaoyang district keeps at the price of 2770 yuan/t. In Benxi, 6-10mm HMS2 softens at 2750 yuan/t. In Fushun, 6-10mm HMS2 rises by 40 yuan/t to 2700 yuan/t.
Meanwhile, some steel mills have raised the quotation of scrap in order to increase volumes of scrap products arrived to their mills. In addition, due to the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, scrap traders slow down the speed of shipping scrap products.
