According to the data from the Shandong Province's Administration of Coal Mine Safety, Shandong province produced 10.387 million tons of raw coal in August 2019, down 2.35% on a monthly basis and down 14.4% from the previous year.
In January-August, raw coal output in Shandong was 79.022 million tons, decreasing 7.866 million tons or 9.05% on year.
Of this, raw coal output in provincial coal mines was 63.974 million tons, dropping 4.788 million tons on year. Raw coal output in coal mines subordinate to cities and counties stood at 15.048 million tons, down 1.607 million tons on year.
